Transport to Hotel from airport:  Relative easy with taxi. Rm 17 fixed by airport. For a mere 2 km, that's highly expensive. Not much choice with transport though as other forms of public transport are available. 

Within Hotel

Reception

• Very helpful staff but extremely slow in checking in. Warm reception & concierge, esp. Robert (front desk) & Mawawi (Concierge).
  

Decor

• Not bad but not memorable. 
• The only Four Points I've been to that's memorable is the one in Beijing. Best of the lot.
  

Ambiance

• Relaxed. Spacious. A little too empty during the day.
  

Convenience

• 2 restaurants & 1 lounge. Looks nice although I didn't eat in hotel as there are plenty of choices just across from the hotel & nearby malls (Boulevard, MYR 10 by cab & The Spring, MYR 15 by cab).
  

Room

• Looks a year old even though it's a brand new hotel. Just opened last month, in fact. I think it's not officially opened yet. According to the staff, the hotel operator rushed to open it but work was slowed down by the many months of rain. Safe box doesn't work when checked in. I later found out the reason why; the pin # has to be programmed again & again after each opening, ie one cannot simply lock it with the lock button. The pin must be keyed in each single time in order for it to lock!
• Broadband/Wifi:  Free for now although it's stated on the SPG site a fee will be levied.
• Bathroom:  Bare minimum. No toothbrush, shower cap or comb! I do not believe should cut these essential out of the room at all, esp. when it's 4* or higher.
• Cleanliness:  Some fruit flies found in room. First time I've ever seen these of the many hotels I've stayed with!
• Sound:  No problem with noises from guests, probably due to less traffic. The hotel is however still under renovation & construction can be heard as early as 7.30 am!

Convenience

• Generally easy access to malls (max 15 mins, MYR15) & city center (20 mins, MYR 22). There are salons & restaurants just across the hotel.
